From 371041c937f70ec74583f5d73c007a50b09a8574 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Prathik Shetty Date: Wed, 15 Jul 2026 05:23:20 +0530 Subject: [PATCH] refactor: enable built-in question tool for core agents (#302) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Adds question: allow to the permission: frontmatter of core/openagent and core/opencoder, so the OpenCode runtime permits the built-in question tool for the two interactive primary agents. Distinct from #269, which added 'question' to the compatibility layer's ToolAccessSchema (the tools: access layer used for Claude/Windsurf translation). This is the permission: layer read by the OpenCode runtime — the two are complementary. Verified 'question' is a first-class key in OpenCode's PermissionConfig with "allow" a valid PermissionActionConfig. --- .opencode/agent/core/openagent.md | 1 + .opencode/agent/core/opencoder.md | 1 + 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+) diff --git a/.opencode/agent/core/openagent.md b/.opencode/agent/core/openagent.md index 7055915..e3d6cb8 100644 --- a/.opencode/agent/core/openagent.md +++ b/.opencode/agent/core/openagent.md @@ -4,6 +4,7 @@ description: "Universal agent for answering queries, executing tasks, and coordi mode: primary temperature: 0.2 permission: + question: "allow" bash: "*": "ask" "rm -rf *": "ask" diff --git a/.opencode/agent/core/opencoder.md b/.opencode/agent/core/opencoder.md index 7e2be79..bae8206 100644 --- a/.opencode/agent/core/opencoder.md +++ b/.opencode/agent/core/opencoder.md @@ -4,6 +4,7 @@ description: "Orchestration agent for complex coding, architecture, and multi-fi mode: primary temperature: 0.1 permission: + question: "allow" bash: "rm -rf *": "ask" "sudo *": "deny"
